Milwaukee Police Department has shared a video of officers removing a mother and her toddler from an overturned vehicle to acknowledge the officers being honored at Tuesday night's Spring Merit Awards.
The department posted the update to Facebook Tuesday afternoon praising the involved officers for their quick acting that resulted in the mother and child safely removed from the vehicle.
The annual Spring Merit Awards celebrates officers and citizens working to make Milwaukee a safer place.
